Optical Coupler for Laser and Fiber Coupling with Tilt and Lateral Adjustment Optical coupler with tilt and lateral adjustment is used for laser and fiber coupling with high coupling efficiency and high stability. Based on our new technology of "High Stable (TM) Coupler" (patent in pending), the optical coupler is one element object to implementing tilt and lateral adjustment in resulting of high stability and long term reliability for laser output power. The optical coupler is a key component for laser to fiber coupling, active waveguide to fiber coupling, active to active component coupling, active to passive component coupling, and passive to passive component coupling. The optical coupler has a wide variety of applications in optical instrumentations, biomedical photonics, sensors, telecommunications, optical testing and various industries.

Most types of lasers like He-Ne laser, DPSS laser, laser diode and other active components can use our optical coupler to connect a fiber with high coupling efficiency and high stability. Because our optical coupler has tilt and lateral adjustment capability, no high precision alignment between laser and fiber is required. Any small misalignment between laser and fiber will be compensated by the tilt and lateral adjustment of the optical coupler. Figure 2 is an example of He-Ne laser coupled with single mode fiber with high coupling efficiency and high stability.
