Laser Diode Stabilizer Fiber Gratings (with or without lensed fiber tip) The wavelength of a pump laser diode should be stabilized during operation. Fiber grating is a simple and good approach for locking the wavelength of the pump laser diode. The fiber grating is also a simple and efficient approach to stabilize the wavelength of the any laser diode device. We can offer fiber gratings for 980nm pumping laser diode and 1480nm pumping laser diode. We are also capable of writing the fiber gratings for 850nm laser diode and other wavelength laser diode. The fiber grating forms an external cavity and reflects a very small part of the signal to act as a feedback thus stabilizing the pumping wavelength. We also provide the laser diode stabilizer with lensed fiber to provide complete solutions for 1480nm pump laser and 980nm pump laser package. Other processes like AR coating, ferrule mounting, fiber tip metallization and connectorization are also can be done in house. Usually the 1480nm pump laser will use conical lensed fiber to coupling the laser diode and 980nm pump laser will use wedged lensed fiber to do the coupling.
